Biography:

In high school Tim was fortunate to study trumpet with Robert Nagel, instructor at Julliard and Yale. At the New England Conservatory he studied with Andre Come, second trumpet with the Boston Symphony and principal trumpet with the Boston Pops. Recognizing a call to the ministry Tim put down the trumpet in the mid '70s and moved in a new direction. In 2014 he picked up the instrument again and began studies with Michael Walk of the St. Louis Symphony. Along the way he discovered the world of Brass Bands and in particular the St. Louis Brass Band. It's a dream come true for him to be part of this band. Tim lives in Affton with his wife Karen. When he is not practicing or playing with the band he can be found at Suson Park taking care of the horses, ponies, donkeys, cows and occasionally playing with piglets.
